State of the Art Skill Tracking and Measurement


Purpose:

In order to effectively implement training programs and systems, it is critical to understand where the skill of the individual currently lies. The Skills Diagnostic System enables that through a questionnaire process and continual reporting feedback system. At all times the individual and management understand where their skill level is, and what gaps need to be worked on.

Through the use of a comprehensive questionnaire, tuned to your company’s requirements, the Skill Diagnostic System can measure the individual and manager's perception of their skill level across several categories of the requirements of a particular position.


In the case of the sales questionnaire, those areas are: General Sales Skill; Business Management; Personal Organisation; Prospecting Focus; Team Play; and Company Knowledge.


The system is easy to use and outputs a graph which shows the level of skill compared to the perceptions of the individual's manager, the team average, and the database of TMC experience.


The graphic and reporting output is easily customised to the specifications of the client, and the skill categories can also be customised such that the database engine is capable of generating exactly what measures the client is looking for.


Summary:

Skill Diagnostic System is an inexpensive, easy-to-use but valuable tool for the individual and management to assess skill and determine how to enhance that skill to bring performance up the to levels expected both by the individual and the company.
